Every year, the African Institute for Mathematical Sciences (AIMS) admits young talented African graduates with a mathematical science background into its fully funded AIMS Structured Masterâs Program in Mathematical Sciences. Students have the possibility to study in either of the AIMS centres in South Africa, Cameroon, Ghana, Senegal or Tanzania.
The 2015-16 call for applications is now open and we would like to kindly request that you share this information as widely as possible especially within your tertiary institutions. Montreal, October 24 – 26, 2014 - The Rwanda Development Board in partnership with the High Commission of the Republic of Rwanda to Canada showcased Rwanda’s tourism at the International Tourism and Travel Show in Montreal - Canada. The exhibition attracted tourism offices, tour operators and diplomatic missions from more than 100 countries. The show also offered all travel-related services, and hosted numerous conferences.
On Friday 4 July 2014, Rwandans living in Canada came together in Ottawa to celebrate Kwibohora20. The event, held at Fairmont Chateau Laurier Hotel, gathered over 350 Rwandans and friends of Rwanda to celebrate the Liberation Day and honor those who died during the liberation struggle that stopped the genocide against the Tutsi and restored the nation.
